MSIA is organized exclusively for educational, fraternal and professional purposes. It promotes the free exchange of inter-agency information necessary to effectively carry out the work of association members. It also provides continuing educational opportunities for governmental personnel engaged in investigative work and enhances the status of investigative work as a profession.
